Questions, answered plainly
Everything you might be wondering about how CoDriver works, what it costs, and whose side we’re on.
Getting started
Especially for you. CoDriver explains every term in plain language and tells you exactly what to ask, so you're never the least-informed person in the room.
About three minutes. You answer a few calm questions about budget, lifestyle, and must-haves — no jargon — and we start matching you with cars that fit.
No. You can browse honestly-rated listings without signing up. An account lets you save cars to your garage, track price changes, and run full deal analyses.
Pricing & plans
CoDriver is a one-time access pass — not a subscription. Pay once, use it for the window, and it never auto-renews. Pick the tier that matches how much help you want: Guide ($29, 30 days), Navigator ($49, 45 days), or CoDriver ($79, 60 days).
Guide gets you oriented — coaching chat, vehicle research, budget tools, an out-the-door calculator, your top match, and a few deal reviews. Navigator adds expanded matches refreshed regularly, higher deal-review limits, and negotiation prep for your specific deal. CoDriver adds our highest match and review limits with priority refresh and priority access. Each tier up grows your access faster than the price.
Your saved cars and profile stay with you. To run new analyses after the window closes, you can start a fresh window whenever you're ready to shop again.
Listings & analysis
We aggregate real listings from dealers and private sellers, then layer on market-value comparisons, recall checks, and confidence scores.
It blends the car's price versus the local market, title and accident history, mileage, days on lot, and how well it fits your stated needs — distilled into a single 0–100 score.
Every car is rated against recent local sales of similar vehicles: Great deal, Good deal, Fair price, High price, or Overpriced. It reflects what comparable cars actually sold for — not optimistic asking prices.
Yes. On Navigator and CoDriver, paste any listing link and we'll run a full deal analysis — price rating, red flags, recall check, and a fair out-the-door estimate.
Trust & independence
From buyers, through the one-time plan — never from dealers. We take no commissions, referral fees, or kickbacks, so our only job is to be on your side.
No. CoDriver is independent. We don't represent any dealer, manufacturer, or lender, and no one pays us to steer you toward their inventory.
At the dealership
Yes. You'll walk in with a question checklist, a fair out-the-door target, and negotiation scripts you can use right on the lot or over the phone.
It's the all-in total you actually pay — vehicle price plus sales tax, title, registration, and any dealer fees. It's the only number worth negotiating, and CoDriver estimates it for every car.
